Scott Turner MD
Dr. Turner earned an undergraduate degree at Ouachita Baptist University before attending St. Louis University School of Medicine, graduating in 1988. He then entered the CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency Program, graduating with the first class of residents from the program in 1991. After practicing in Osceola and Appleton City, Missouri he returned to Springfield in 2010 to join PatientCare Family Clinic, purchasing the clinic in 2014. He is married and enjoys traveling to see his two adult children, hiking, growing garlic and Jeepsters.
Veronica Putnam N-PC
Veronica earned her undergraduate degree from University of Missouri in Columbia in 2007. After working as a registered nurse in intensive care and emergency medicine she went on to pursue her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University, graduating in 2010. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. She joined the the PatientCare Family clinic in 2011. Veronica lives in Ozark and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Shelley Bird N-PC
Shelley is proud to have grown up and received her education in the Springfield area. She first obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University in 2009. After working in clinical nursing, she then received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University in 2013. Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Shelley is passionate about women’s health and is looking forward to many years of providing quality care to her patients in Southwest Missouri. She resides in Springfield with her husband and daughter and enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with her family.
Angie Gower PA-C
Angie began her career in Education, receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 1995. After teaching for several years, she went on to further her education in Medicine and received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University in 2008. Angie is a National Health Services Corp member and spent the first 6 years of her medical career working in Internal Medicine and serving a local rural, under-served community in Missouri. This was followed by her current work in Family Medicine since 2014. She has participated in Mission work within the U.S, as well as Haiti and Central America. Her first love is her large growing family, but she also enjoys camping, hiking, motorcycling, kayaking and traveling.
